General
GFAST

Broadband speeds are affected by your proximity to your local telephone street cabinet, quality of your phone line and any internal wiring. Estimated synchronisation speeds for your line are based on a clean line (i.e. in good condition), the DSL router being connected directly to the Openreach master socket and computer being connected via ethernet cable (any speed related issue will require this setup in order to do diagnostics).

Most FTTC Migrations are free of charge. For new connections and transfers from full LLU (Sky / Talk Talk) or Cable (Virgin Media) there is a combined activation charge of £50.00. See our price list for full details. FTTC connections are subject to a 1 month contract.

FTTC services are contended so throughput speed may be below synchronisation speed at peak times, if you require an un-contended service please speak to us about out EtherPro Leased Lines.

FTTP

FTTP connections are subject to a 1 year contract. If you cancel the service (including moving house) then you will be liable for the remaining months of the 12 month contract.
Early termination charges will also apply if you change to a package with a lower download or upload speed and a new 12 month contract will apply.
If you enable/disable traffic priority or increase the service speed then a new 12 month contract period will apply from the date of the change.

Official lead time quoted by Openreach is 14 days, actual lead time varies subject to survey.

FTTP connections for both new circuits and migrations will be subject to a £50.00 activation charge.
