Inclusive UK Mobile & International Band A&B Calls limited to a total of 1200 minutes (20hrs) per month after which normal call charges will apply. Standard Line Features

These features are included in IDNet Standard Line Rental and IDNet Business Premium Line Rental (existing features transferred in 'like for like' or activated on request).

Caller Display

Caller Display shows you the number of the person calling so you can decide whether to answer the call. To use you will need a compatible handset (nearly all current UK sold phones are compatible).

Call Waiting

With Call Waiting, a gentle beep alerts you that another call is coming in. You then have the option to end your original call and take the new call, swap between both calls, or continue with your current call.

Call Barring

Incoming Call Barring allows you to bar all incoming calls. Outgoing Call Barring on the line allows you to bar a range of outgoing calls based on the selection of a code.

Call Sign

Call Sign allows you to distinguish between incoming calls on the same line. You are provided with an Alternate Number to your existing Telephone Number and when this number is dialled the telephone connected to the line will ring with a different cadence to the normal ring tone. You can thus determine whom the call is for, or who the caller is, prior to answering it.

Choose To Refuse

Choose to Refuse enables you to choose who gets through helping you put a stop to nuisance or unwanted calls. You can block up to 10 numbers.

Anonymous Call Reject

Anonymous Call Reject blocks any caller that doesn't send their phone number via Caller Display.

Number Withhold

Your phone number will not be presented to anyone you call.

Smart Divert

Smart Divert enables you to have all calls diverted to another number - anywhere in the UK, most overseas destinations or a mobile phone. You can choose to - divert all calls, divert on no reply or divert when the line is busy. You will be provided with an access number and pin to enable you to use Smart Divert remotely.
The diverted leg of the call will be charged at your normal call rates and included in any call package that you may have.

Answerphone (1571)

Answerphone (1571) diverts incoming calls when there is no reply, or the called line is busy, to a voice bank. A greeting will instruct the caller to leave a message.

Bypass Number

A Bypass Number is a second phone number on your phone line which bypasses any diversions or blocks on the line.

These features will incur a charge on every use except with our 'Anytime Unlimited Plus' call plan where they are included.

Allows you to set your phone for an Alarm Call using the 24-hour clock.

1571 is available free on request when taking a Business Premium line.

1571 diverts incoming calls when there is no reply, or the called line is busy, to a voice bank. A greeting will instruct the caller to leave a message.

Premium Rate Call Prices (084/087/09/118)

Information Services, Premium Numbers & Directory Enquiries

The service charge - this is the rest of the call charge. The organisation you’re calling decides the service charge, and must communicate it. For example, if the service charge was 20p per minute, the organisation you’re calling might say "Calls cost 20p per minute, plus your phone company’s access charge".

The service charge for calls to 084 numbers is between 0p and 7p per minute.
The service charge for calls to 087 numbers is between 0p and 13p per minute.
The service charge for calls to 09 numbers can range from 1p to £3.60 per minute. You may be charged a one-off call cost ranging from 5p to £5.00.
The service charge for 118 numbers can vary widely and usually have a setup charge and then a per minute charge. 118 service charges are subject to a cap, which means 118 companies must not charge more than £3.65 per 90 seconds of a call. We strongly recommend using online directory enquiries services which are free.


By adding together the access charge and the service charge, you’ll know exactly what the call will cost you.

Anytime / Anytime Plus

5 hours worth of calls to numbers starting 084 or 087 are included with our Anytime and Anytime Plus packages, after which time an access fee of 8p per minute + the service charge will apply. For numbers starting 09 or 118 the access charge is included within your package but service charge will be payable.

Customer Support Lines

Companies that you already have a contractual arrangement with are legally obliged to provide you with a standard rate (01,02,03) or freephone (0800,0808) number to call.

NHS

The NHS has banned the use of premium numbers for services and you should be provided with a standard rate (01,02,03) or freephone (0800,0808) number to call. The 111 (non medical emergency) and 119 numbers are free to call.

Police

The 101 police non emergency number is now free to call.

Price Change Notifications

Calls

Jan 2018 - Due to an increase in wholesale costs for calls to Russian Mobiles the price will increase to 50p per minute (Band D) from 1st Feb 2018.

Apr 2019 - 118 services charges capped at £3.04 per 90 seconds of call

Oct 2019 - All numbers starting 07 now charged at our standard mobile rate.

Apr 2020 - Calls to 101 (police non emergency) is now free.

Rental

Oct 2018 - Standard Line Rental reduced to £12.50 per month. Installation Costs Reduced.

May 2020 - Standard Line Rental reduced to £10.50 per month.

Rental & Connection
Transfers are done on a like for like basis & features can be added/changed on request once line has transferred. New lines will have features added on request.
Non included PSTN line features (excluding answering services) cost £2.50 per month.
Some combinations of line features (Call Barring & any Call Diversion services) are incompatible and can't be ordered together. Bypass number must be associated with either Smart Divert, Call Diversion or Call Barring.
New line installation and migration from Virgin Media will require an engineer visit, if the engineer is unable to gain access to the premises at the agreed time a £85.00 missed appointment fee will be passed on.
New installations will be done over existing spare pairs where available and in some cases may use existing sockets. Should no spare pairs be available a longer lead time may be necessary and in exceptional circumstances additional charges may apply - we will contact you in such cases before progressing the order.
Where a new socket is required Openreach state that 'the NTP will be installed at the end point of the network cable located either at: - the point at which the network cable arrives on the exterior of the Premises but no higher than 1.5 m above ground level; or - the first reasonably available point on the network cable up to a maximum duration of: (i) for WLR3 Basic PSTN one hour’s work (ii) for WLR3 Premium PSTN two hour’s work from the time the Openreach engineer commences work on arrival at the Premises provided that work will only be undertaken to the extent necessary for engineering or safety reasons. Work undertaken beyond the defined maximum duration will be charged in accordance with Openreach Time Related Charges (TRCs).'
Call diversions and 3 way calling will incur per second call charges at your call package rate

Lead time for orders is 10 working days. Faster provision may be possible subject to an additional expedite fee of £145.00

Call Packages
Call packages are on 1 month contract and can be altered as required.
Fair usage policy: no bulk calling (telesales), no automated dialers (i.e. anything that automatically makes a phone call or dialup data connection). Inclusive Mobile & International Calls limited to a total of 1200 minutes (20 hours) per month after which normal call charges will apply. SMS messages limited to 100 per month after which number SMS charges will apply.
Unlimited UK calls also apply for calls to Channel Islands, Isle Of Man and calls between Northern Ireland and Republic Of Ireland (calls between UK Mainland and Republic Of Ireland will be charged at the relevant international rate).
Calls over 1 hour will have the duration over 1 hour charged at the 'line only' call rate.
Other Calls
A call setup fee of 8.00p applies to all non inclusive calls (except numbers starting 084,087,09 & 118 where a Special Services Access Charge of 8p per minute will apply instead.)
All calls are calculated on a per second basis (except numbers starting 084,087,09 & 118 which will be charged per minute) and rounded up to nearest penny.
Mobile rate applies to any call starting 07

Care Levels
Quoted timescales take affect from when end user fault diagnostics have been completed and the fault is determined to be within the Openreach network.
Committed clear times are subject to you agreeing a suitable appointment for an engineer (if required) to visit.
If the engineer is unable to gain access to the premises at the agreed time a £85.00 missed appointment fee will be passed on.
The stated fix times will not apply if Openreach issue a 'Major Service Outage' or 'Matters Beyond Our Reasonable Control' (i.e. extreme weather, flooding, local incidents...) notification which is applicable to your exchange or dial code.
Contract & Cancellation
A standard contract term of 1 month applies to PSTN phone lines.
All new orders and changes to existing services must be placed via our website or in writing (e-mail or post)
Cancellations must be placed in writing (e-mail or post) and are subject to a 30 day notice period.
