You will need an appropriate router to use this service, IDNet can supply a router which includes initial configuration for your circuit.

Any initial setup fees & hardware costs must be paid prior to the order progressing. Payment for service is monthly in advance.

All new orders and changes to existing services must be placed via our website or in writing (e-mail or post).

Prices excluding VAT will not increase or decrease during any contracted period (if the VAT rate changes your price including vat will change accordingly). We will give 1 months notice to those affected should we need to change the price on any 1 month contract package. We will notify 12 & 24 month contract customers at least 30 days prior to their contracted period ending and them being moved onto 1 month contract terms.

Broadband services are typically offered on a 1, 12 or 24 month contract basis.

All orders are subject to our general terms and conditions & acceptable use policy.

For almost all new installations the engineer will need to drill a small hole in your external wall. For full fibre connections a small external box will be fitted on outside of property and the ONT will be fitted inside. For part fibre services a standard telephone socket will be fitted inside your property.

Business packages will come with Premium or Business installation service by default (suitable for most commercial property), home packages will come with Standard installation service by default. Additional charges will apply if install level needs to be increased due to property type or extra work that needs to be completed, we will advise you if this is the case before order proceeds.

A minimum 10 working day lead time applies for orders requiring an engineer visit. Flats & larger business premises may take much longer.

Same technology migrations (i.e. switching from another Openreach FTTP provider to IDNet Openreach FTTP) normally happen seamlessly overnight and just require you to plugin the preconfigured IDNet router or reconfigure your existing router.

A 10 working day lead time applies for orders not requiring an engineer visit.

We offer 'One Touch Switching' for consumer broadband connections, if you successfully validate the switch during the ordering process there will be no need to contact your existing supplier to let them know you are leaving.

For most broadband services cancellation within 2 working days of a scheduled engineer visit will incur a £120.00 cancelled installation charge. ITS & Ethernet cancellations charges will be considerably higher.

Customers who are consumers or who otherwise possess a legal right to cancel, you can cancel this order anytime up to 14 calendar days starting from the day we received your order. If you cancel after the service has commenced you must pay the service subscription charge for any period of usage. You will also need to pay the standard connection, migration, activation charges that are levied by our network providers (typically around £120.00), any cease charges they may levy (typically around £60.00) and return any hardware that has been supplied (in boxed & resalable condition otherwise full RRP will be charged). Cancellations must be requested in writing.

Consumers may migrate to another provider via the 'One Touch Switching' process without notifying us. All other migrations should be notified to us in writing (e-mail or post) and are subject to a 30 day notice period.

If you cease your broadband service or migrate to another broadband provider whilst within your contracted period then you will be liable for an early termination charge of £24.00 for each month remaining of the contracted period.

You must notify us via email that you are moving property and provide details of your new address.

Early termination fees for consumers will be waived if moving home and you take a new IDNet contract of the same length or greater at your new home. If you move home within the first 6 months of the contracted period a £90.00 cease service fee will apply. Any installation fees that apply to your new property (12m contracts, non standard installations etc.) will also be charged.

Business customers will need to pay early termination fees if moving property within the contracted term unless agreed otherwise.

In order to process orders we will send the minimum necessary information (name, address, service ordered, contact details) to our wholesaler/network provider so they can install/transfer the service to IDNet.

IDNet will need to provide necessary details to our payment service providers & bank so your payments can be processed.

IDNet will have to process personal information such as your address details, payment details, ip address, telephone number, email addresses in order for the service to operate.

If you don't submit your order (by pressing the 'Place Order' button on final screen) we may use the details you have entered to send a reminder, these details will be removed within 30 days.

Once your order has been placed your information may be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirement.

Our TP-Link Aginet routers will send periodic diagnostic information and speed test results to our ACS service, this is to ensure service is performing within specification and to aid with fault diagnostics.
