Tell us a little about your company and the services you provide: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Absolute\nhas 4 core services it offers. They are<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. AV equipment rental. This can be to businesses,\neducational establishments and venues. It tends to focus on local clients, but\nis not restricted to those who are close to us.<\/li>
  2. Technical event production and project management.\nThis services our agency and end client business with a completely managed\ntechnical solution, generally within the UK, but through Europe and across the globe.<\/li>
  3. Permanent AV installation. As well as supporting our\nclients with temporary solutions, we have an installations division, who\ninstall equipment into business premises, lecture theatres and venues on a\npermanent basis.<\/li>
  4. Scenic design and build. We have an exhibition stand\ncontractor as part of our group of companies, and we can design, build and\ninstall bespoke exhibition stands across Europe, as well as manufacturing stage\nsets and graphic prints in house.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Our base is near Cambridge, but the events we work on span the whole of the UK and increasingly we travel across Europe, the US and even as far as Japan and Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      What are the main ways you use your internet connection? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Three main\nways really. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Firstly,\ninternal comms and telephone systems. We have around 35 staff and often scale\nup to incorporate freelance technicians and project managers. We connect\neveryone at the office and those working remotely though our VoIP telephone\nsystem, so internet connectivity is critical here, as well as fast reliable\naccess to our IT systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Next is the\nmovement of large files. We deal in all sorts of media. Clients send us content\nfor their events. PowerPoint slide decks, videos, photos, branding etc. Often\nfiles are huge, and we have to upload, download and send vast amounts of data.\nWe\u2019re always working to tight deadlines so can\u2019t afford for data traffic to\nsnarl up or stop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Finally, storage\nand security. Everything is backed up to the cloud. Our equipment inventory,\nquoting, project management, financial and HR systems are all backed up in real\ntime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How do you benefit from a fast and stable internet connection? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Absolute\u2019s\nbusiness operations demand robust internet connectivity. We simply could not\ndeliver the level of service demanded by clients without a fast and stable\nconnection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We\u2019ve\nrecently upgraded to an IDNet leased line and the difference is astonishing.\nCalls don\u2019t drop out, large files are transferred in seconds and emails fly out\nbefore you\u2019ve even blinked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We have our\nown video edit suite and pushing out HD content to clients has become so much\nquicker and reliable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      What do you like best about IDNet? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Based on\nreputation, we chose IDNet to provide a leased line connection into our new\nbuild warehouse and I\u2019m so glad we had their support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      They\npatiently liaised with the contractors and made sure that all technical aspects\nwere covered.  Steve and the IDNet team\nwere brilliant. We are now up and running with flawless symmetrical speeds\ntouching 100Mbps.  I can\u2019t rate them\nhighly enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In many\nways IDNet are like Absolute. They are experts. They care about doing a good\njob. And they actually give a damn about the end result. Having a single point\nof contact throughout our new build really project helped. I like their\nattitude, their service and of course the speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


      \nHave you had any bad experiences with other ISPs in the past? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Hasn\u2019t\neveryone! Just like calling any large utility company, I used to dread being\nput on hold and having to re-explain technical issue each time I called. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
